'F1' Movie Review

CinemaBums was honored to attend an early screening of Apple Films’ new movie, F1. Read our spoiler-free review below:

F1 roars onto the screen as a classic summer box office hit, fueled by electrifying action. Brad Pitt delivers a commanding performance, his movie-star charisma anchoring the film. Director Joseph Kosinski, riding high off his triumph with Top Gun: Maverick, scores another massive success, proving he’s a master of crafting crowd-pleasing spectacles. The film pulses with the heart-pounding energy that defined Top Gun: Maverick, though it never quite soars to those same heights.

The true standout is Hans Zimmer’s score, a pulse-pounding masterpiece that amplifies every moment. It’s the heartbeat of the film, elevating F1 into a must-see cinematic experience. While it may not match the heights of Top Gun: Maverick, the immersive action sequences in IMAX make it easy to overlook its flaws. Overall, F1 is a triumph that cements Kosinski’s hot streak and delivers summer movie magic in spades.
