I saw the original “Oldboy” over the weekend. It’s fantastic, but pretty hard to watch. I don’t know if I’ll bother seeing the Spike Lee remake, but based on the trailer, there seem to be enough changes that it might be worth it.

I also saw “Zero Charisma”, the first flick distributed by Nerdist Industries. It’s about a loner obsessed with RPGs, trying to deal with a disruption in his home game. I thought it was a neat little character study, but also a bit uncomfortable at times. I recommend it.

Contest shout-out for those who are so inclined: Past My Curfew is having a fun contest to win an Amazon gift card. I like to enter contests occasionally, so I thought I’d share the love. The blog is pretty fun, too! A man and his dog consider life (and sometimes movies)!
