I saw “Monsters University” and enjoyed it. It suffers in comparison to the far-superior “Monsters Inc”, but it’s still a fun movie. Typical of Pixar, it’s very heartfelt and sincere, and the emotional payoff is worth any missteps along the way.

“The Lone Ranger” is opening tomorrow. I can’t say that I recommend it overall, but the action scenes are nifty. Maybe wait for it to show up on Blu-Ray, or catch it on TV.

What’s the Joke, Projectionist? “The Lone Ranger” isn’t a great movie, but “The William Tell Overture” is really neat.
