LIKE my comic, won’t you?

Today’s comic continues from the previous two. There’s just one more, then back to regular movie schtickery.

That “Oogieloves” movie I mentioned in my last post broke records with some of the worst box office returns in history. I thought that the reaction to the crappy reception was hilarious.  The person behind the characters, Kenn Viselman said “This was never about box office. It was about exposure. We’ve now got the notoriety we were trying to get for weeks before the film opened.” So, while crappy attendance is bad, the WORST EVER attendance is actually kind of noteworthy. When life gives ya lemons, right Kenn?

I just heard about Michael Clarke Duncan. Very sad. I’d heard a rumour a while back that if you recognized him on the street and got his name right, he would give you ten bucks. If true, that’s an awesome, classy move. He was very underrated in “The Slammin’ Salmon” and obviously he was great in “The Green Mile”. I also dug his turn as the Kingpin in “Daredevil”.
